In 2009 we were lucky enough to have two local independent designers, Gwen Ash and Jen Geddes, help us to create a collection of 4 Oxjam Cardiff tote bags. Always thinking about climate change see! Two of the designs were also printed on to t-shirts for volunteers and they looked AMAZING. We still have a few bags left over, so if you would like to purchase one for the bargain price of £3, just email us and we can pop one in the post, or drop one round to you. Yeah, we’re nice like that.

We’ve also been inundated with donations of CDs and records for our Oxjam Record Stall that we initially set up for Swn Festival 2009. We’ve even had a bongo donated! So you’ll probably see us around the independent markets in Cardiff (e.g. Northcote Lane Market at Milgi, and the new Carbootique events at the Cardiff Arts Institute). We’ve had donations from John Rostron (co-founder of Swn), Noel Gardner (Buzz Music Editor) and Buzz Magazine, as well as some local DJs and musos. At only £1 for CD albums and vinyl and 20p for CD singles, it really is worth a rummage. And please email us at oxjam.cardiff@gmail.com if you’d like to donate anything.
You can also buy official Oxjam T-shirts from the Oxjam website.
And we’re hoping to set up a PayPal account, a Big Cartel account and some kind of ticket-selling function on here for when the next Oxjam events take place in October 2010. If you want to help us set it up, please get in touch. WE NEED YOU!
